Host your event on 27 acres of hills, mountain views, huge boulders, and greenery including rare red manzanitas and oak trees. Our outdoor and indoor spaces take full advantage of the views and can accommodate large groups.

• The property includes 2 fully remodeled authentic log cabin homes that are 9000 square feet combined. The home recently won the 2024 San Diego Magazine Home Design award for best rustic home.

• The Japatul House has 4 bedrooms and sleeps 16. From the homes wrap around deck you can enjoy the mountain views while overlooking the private heated pool and hot tub. There is also a fire pit area surrounded by market lights, perfect for smaller dining experiences.

• The Manzanita Lodge has 5 bedrooms, and can sleep 18. The upstairs floor includes a cowboy bar with a pool table and outdoor patio. The main floor has an open floor plan from the kitchen, to the large living area that opens up to a 2000 square foot wrap around Viewpoint deck.

PICTURESQUE OUTDOOR SPACES

The property includes several walking paths through the mananitas, horseshoe courts, a gazebo, a tree house, tree swings and a 1950s tractor, all providing excellent photography opportunities.
WORKSHOPS & RETREATS

The property has a vast mountain meadow space that is nestled against the hill among the boulders and trees. Imagine listening to a speaker while enjoying the fresh mountain air!

OUTDOOR FEATURES

The Veranda includes 10 platforms of space that are all connected by a winding path. Each space accommodates 3-6 tables for dining or meeting. Collectively, the platforms can accommodate 250 people.
The Oaktree Lawn that can sit up to 250 guests (without tables). This area is perfect for a keynote speaker or presentation as it can seat 250 guests (without tables).
The 1000 square foot deck of the Japatul House deck overlooks the private/heated pool and hot tub. There is also a fire pit area surrounded by market lights, perfect for smaller dining experiences.

The 2000 square foot deck of the Manzanita Lodge overlooks the outdoor veranda, and is the perfect place to soak in the mountain air and scenery. It can be used for seating or for other activities such as painting or yoga.

To the side of the Manzanita Lodge, and next to its wrap-around deck, your group can enjoy the outdoor bar and cocktail area. For celebrations there is also a dance floor.

INDOOR FEATURES

The open floor plan of the 1st floor of the Manzanita Lodge includes the kitchen, and a large wood floor area that opens to a 2000 square foot wrap around deck. The A-frame structure is filled with a massive stone fireplace. The space is stocked with comfortable and casual seating, but can be converted to tables and chairs for formal meeting or dining.
The 2nd floor of the Manzanita Lodge is a 1200 square foot cowboy bar. Filled with leather sofas and bar tables, this space is a great environment for your group to unwind, play some pool, or relax on the open cigar patio.

The 1st floor of the Japatul House includes the kitchen, and a large wood floor area, and a common area that all connect to the 1000 square foot wrap around deck. The space is warmed by the massive fireplace and is stocked with comfortable and casual seating. It too, can be converted to tables and chairs for formal meeting or dining.

The 2nd floor of the Japatul House is an open 1000 square feet. Here, your group can fully appreciate the uniqueness of the logs that surround them.
